Highbridge-Woodycrest becomes first user of EASYng.

Bluemark has initiated its product rollout of EASYng, fully automating the Medicaid application process for Long-Term Care Medicaid. This paperless process allows for the electronic submission of all necessary forms and supporting documentation directly to NYC HRA for adjudication via the newly implemented EDITS portal.

    May 25, 2007:
EASy's 12th year has been an exciting one.

    Automatic Recertifications

In May of 2006 Bluemark, LLC initiated a project with the City of New York Human Resources Administration to update their Automatic Recertification process onto our EASy™ platform.  HRA now processes all automatic recertifications for all New York City long term care providers utilizing our technology.  As a result, the city has obtained better control over the entire recertification process and now completes the extension of coverage of these critical cases in a much timelier manner.

In addition, we are now able to provide your facility with immediate access to your approved Auto Recerts, allowing you to:

    • validater their monthly roster
    • respond faster to any problem cases.

This new process has been in production for one year. Moving forward, facilities can expect to receive their official postal Auto Recertification letters from the City of New York shortly following the first of each month.

    Virtual Private Networking

Bluemark has recently expanded our networking capabilities to include Virtual Private Networking.  This has eliminated the need for Dial Up services and begin the migration of our ISDN clients to this high speed and more reliable service.

Facilites interested in upgrading their communications from ISDN to VPN, should contact David Becker at (212) 630-0921.

EDITS, The Eligibility Data and Image Transfer System

A number of years ago, the City of New York HRA initiated a project called EDITS to create an internal interface for providers to submit electronic Medicaid applications and forms along with associated scanned documentation.  At this point in time, New York City HRA is now accepting PCAP applications electronically via this process.  Testing is underway for the acceptance of Hospital In-Patient, Out Patient and Community cases.  The Long Term Care module is currently in the development stage.

When Long Term Care submission through EDITS is available, we are confident that Bluemark’s EASy™, the Eligibility Automation System will continue to provide the most comprehensive approach to the processing and handling of your Medicaid cases.

The next generation of EASy™, the Eligibility Automation System is full developed and ready to succeed the software that has for over ten years handled the eligibility processing of more than one hundred thousand approved New York City Medicaid cases.

Bluemark is eager to meet the growing demand of facilities interested in becoming part of the EASY network of users. When the long-term care module of EDITS is ultimately completed, there will no longer be an HRA imposed restriction as to the number of long-term care facilities submitting cases on the EASy™ system.  Bluemark will be able to offer our services to the entire community of NYC long-term care facilities with no imposed limit to the number of providers we are able support.

Existing EASy™ clients will be able to observe how the entire EDITS Long Term Care process unfolds while knowing your cases will continue to be processed on EASy™, the benchmark for EDITS.

Bluemark, LLC has been certified by the City of New York to submit PCAP applications through EDITS.   We are currently in the process of certification for Hospital, Community and Long Term Care.
